“Let him who would enjoy a good future waste none of his present.” – Roger Babson

Goal SettingMost people do not value their time. They think they do, but if you carefully observe their behavior, you will notice priorities out of order, lack of focus, and numerous ways they waste their time.

According to Rick Grubbs, founder of Redeeming the Time Radio, procrastination is the number one time-waster.

But what exactly is procrastination, why do you procrastinate, and how can you overcome that through God’s Word and God’s principles?

Procrastination is putting off until later what God wants you to do right now.

During this webinar, we discuss:

  • The 2 main causes of procrastination
  • The 3 types of people
  • Dream starters/goal triggers
  • Choosing the right goal
  • Understanding the beginning of all achievement
  • Turning your goal into reality
  • 6 specific actions to turn your desire into a reality
  • 10 big time wasters
  • The key to redeeming the time

Before the webinar, I was inspired to add this to the opening script:

“Your procrastination, not doing what God wants you to do right now, moment by moment, is hurting you and other people every single day. There are people dying every day physically and spiritually because you aren’t being faithful with what God has entrusted to you. Maybe you have been praying to God for a breakthrough or for an answer to a prayer for a family member, when really what God wants you to do is obey what He told you to do thirty minutes ago or at the start of your day during your sacred time in your sacred place. Or maybe you didn’t even set aside time to go to your sacred place for your sacred time because you were too busy doing things God never even asked you to do.”

Shortly after this webinar was over, my friend Russel Stauffer from Canada called and shared this powerful prophetic word he received in 1992 or 1993:

“Procrastination is like an unconfessed sin that festers away at the very moral fiber that connects us to our heavenly Father. This then gives legal ground to the enemy to unleash his negativity to such a degree that the original task or opportunity is lost on the long slide into the murky pool of rationalization.”
