Fun Ways to Engage Supporters of All Ages in Philanthropy

For 75 years, the Jimmy Fund community has supported Dana-Farber Cancer Institute by participating in engaging fundraisers and events that support patient care and research. You can join this grassroots community and make a difference! By participating in Jimmy Fund fundraisers and events, youth, teens, and young adults can tap into their creativity, build self-confidence and leadership skills, and learn more about the importance of philanthropy and giving back in their community, while making a difference for Dana-Farber patients and their families.

  PMC Kids Rides
  The PMC Kids Rides Program offers children, parents, and neighbors an opportunity to work together to create individual bike-a-thons in neighborhoods, at schools, or in business complexes. From May-June and September-October, Kids Rides enable children between the ages of 2 and 15 to ride their bikes and solicit donations with 100% of all rider-raised dollars supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

  Boston Marathon^® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai
  To engage younger participants, the Boston Marathon^® Jimmy Fund Walk offers a reduced fundraising minimum of $130 for kids under 18 walking in person and a $30 minimum for those walking virtually. Choose one of four routes, from 5K Walk (3.1 miles) to the full Marathon Walk (26.2 miles), as well as the option to walk “your way” virtually. There is also a Young Pacesetters program for kids under 18 who raise $500 or more. School and community groups, sports, teams, and families can also volunteer together at the Jimmy Fund Walk.

  Coinstar Coins that Count^® program
  Want to make a difference with coins in your piggy bank? You can turn it in at a Northeast Coinstar kiosk to support Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund. Visit your local kiosk and select the Jimmy Fund as your charity before pouring your change into the Coinstar kiosk. Every donation adds up to make a difference!

  Jimmy Fund Day at Fenway
  Send a Dana-Farber patient to Jimmy Fund Day at Fenway to play on-field! Whether it is fundraising as a team or an individual, supporters of all ages can help a patient live out their baseball dreams.

  Jimmy Fund Little League presented by Franklin Sports
  Jimmy Fund Little League presented by Franklin Sports provides youth baseball and softball players throughout New England the opportunity to play in summer leagues and tournaments, while raising funds for the Jimmy Fund.

  Jimmy Fund Golf
  Jimmy Fund Golf offers family and friends the opportunity to come together and play golf in support of cancer care and research. From 18-hole tournaments to mini-golf, there are many opportunities for people of all ages to get involved. Learn how you can get involved and help get on the right course to fight cancer.

  Jimmy Fund Let's Game^®
  The Jimmy Fund Let's Game^® initiative invites streamers, gamers, and content creators to make an impact on the lifesaving work happening at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. No matter your stream, no matter your location, you can make a difference in the lives of cancer patients around the world by joining our community of charity streamers today. Streamers must be at least 13 and have parent/guardian permission to participate.

  Rally Against Cancer^SM
  Fundraise for the Jimmy Fund at your school and your team could win prizes like Red Sox tickets, hats, or a visit from a Red Sox player. Make sure you wear your Red Sox gear to school on Fenway Park’s Opening Day to show your team spirit!

  Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl^®
  Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl^® presented by Herb Chambers is the nation's largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival filled with sweet treats, live entertainment, and fun each summer. Purchase tickets to visit City Hall Plaza with your children, youth group, or team this June, and support Dana-Farber's mission in the sweetest way possible!

  Junior Jimmy FundRaisers
  Fundraise your way on your timeline with your school, club, sports team, after-school program, or other group!
